Review | Business Delegate Consultation Day Northern, Western and Southern Europe @Graz

The visit of the Austrian business delegates to Graz began with an intensive and informative kick-off. As part of a meet-up, a total of nine Styrian COMET research centers introduced themselves to our eleven business delegates from Northern, Western and Southern Europe in the morning—following opening remarks by Provincial Councillor Willibald Ehrenhöfer. The aim of the meeting was to promote and deepen dialogue and to further expand international networking.

After a lively exchange and numerous interesting questions, a guided tour followed of RCPE – Research Center Pharmaceutical Engineering GmbH, one of the world’s leading research centers in the field of pharmaceutical process and product development.

In the afternoon, numerous export-oriented Styrian companies, institutions and organizations once again took the opportunity to exchange ideas with the business delegates in personal 1:1 meetings.

Around 80 discussions not only provided space to clarify individual questions and concerns, but also to share valuable experiences and make new contacts. In addition, participants received well-founded insights into the current economic situation as well as market opportunities, potential and trends in the respective countries.

In addition, representatives of ICS, the Enterprise Europe Networks (EEN), the DiGEM project, and the internationalization initiative “go-international” were available for individual consultations on all aspects of export business.

The next Business Delegate Consultation Day will take place on June 2, 2026—this time with a focus on Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia and Turkey.
