On June 2, 2026, Graz once again became a hub for international business prospects: numerous export-oriented companies, institutions, and organizations from Styria seized the opportunity for direct exchange with 17 Austrian economic delegates from Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Turkey.
During personal 1:1 discussions, individual questions were clarified in a practical manner, market-specific challenges were discussed, and new business opportunities in international target markets were explored. A total of over 100 discussions took place, which not only provided concrete advice but also conveyed valuable experience and created new contacts for future collaborations.
Participants gained well-founded insights into current economic developments, market trends, and potentials of the respective regions. Direct access to local experts offered an excellent opportunity to specifically prepare international projects and further develop existing activities.
Representatives from ICS, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), and the ‘go-international’ internationalization initiative were also available for individual consultations and questions regarding export business.
In addition to the consultation day, three impulse workshops were also held. Under the motto ‘A Look Beyond the Horizon,’ global developments and regional specifics were made tangible. The sessions on Africa, Central Asia, and Saudi Arabia provided exciting market information, current assessments, and practical insights firsthand.
