How can companies identify their biggest levers for sustainability and focus specifically on what truly matters? That was the central topic of the webinar “Lifecycle Assessment in Brief: How Companies Identify Their Most Effective Levers,” held on November 11, 2025, as part of the REUSE2030 project.
Mag. René Kollmann, CEO of STRATECO, demonstrated impressively how Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) work in practice and how they help make ecological hotspots visible along the entire value chain. His conclusion: those who know their environmental footprint can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and take responsibility.
Likewise, Ioana Mihoc and Leonarda Bregovic presented two digital tools from the REUSE2030 project: the Zero Carbon Tool, which enables companies to calculate the CO₂ footprint of their products and processes, and the Digital Circular Inventory, a platform full of best practices and learning resources for circular business models.
The webinar made it clear: sustainability is no longer a nice-to-have, it is the key to future-proof business and strengthens the innovative power of Styria’s industry.
