GO TOKYO 2026

Do you want to scale your company in one of Asia’s most advanced innovation and healthcare markets? GO TOKYO 2026 is your gateway to the Japanese market – specifically designed for Austrian BioTech and Life Science startups in the growth and expansion phase.

The program combines strategic preparation, financial support, and direct access to the local ecosystem. Digital onboarding formats, IP coaching, practical workshops, as well as curated networking formats and individual business meetings provide the know-how and contacts crucial for a successful market entry into Japan. Selected startups benefit from a travel subsidy of up to EUR 10,000 and participate in an intensive, approximately 1.5-week ecosystem trip. This will take place from October 1 to 9, 2026, in Osaka and Tokyo.

The focus is on BioTech and Life Science solutions across the entire life cycle – from prevention and therapy to healthy aging and care. This includes pharmaceutical and biotechnological innovations, medical technology, and digital health solutions. The program also addresses future fields such as FemTech, AgeTech, ElderlyTech, and CareTech, as well as Inclusive Tech – with the aim of improving quality of life, promoting participation, and sustainably supporting modern healthcare systems.
