uniGPT is the AI-powered chatbot for University of Graz employees and has been available since May 2024. In May 2025, studiGPT, another variant specifically for university students, was introduced. Both AI chatbots are used in a secure environment within the University of Graz’s Microsoft Cloud. uniGPT and studiGPT utilize AI-based language models from various providers, such as OpenAI, Mistral, and Meta, to communicate with users via text-based messages. As AI chatbots, both are designed to respond in natural language.
