On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, companies from Styria took the opportunity to meet pre-scouted IT service providers from the Western Balkans region for personal meetings in Graz. The companies from all six Western Balkan countries (Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Albania), invited by our local expert Christoph Berndt (KP Advisory), were selected according to the specific needs & requirements of our local firms. After a brief introduction and a fact-filled insight into the dynamic IT landscape of the Western Balkans and its potential as Europe’s future “Silicon Valley,” short pitches from the foreign guests and local companies followed. Experiences were shared and best practice examples were presented, highlighting their excellent international performance & implementation strength.
During the subsequent networking session, Styrian participants were offered the opportunity not only to gain practical insights into the current IT projects of the invited companies but also to discuss cooperation intentions in intensive bilateral talks. We were also pleased to have contributed to a comprehensive understanding of regional characteristics and networking within the Western Balkans region through the diversity of the countries represented!
