The fourth International Sustainable Energy Conference (ISEC) took place in Graz from April 14 to 16, 2026. Organized by AEE INTEC, the conference brought together experts from research, business, industry, and politics to discuss current developments and solutions for the energy transition. The focus was on topics such as renewable heating and cooling systems, integrated energy systems, and innovative technologies for a sustainable energy future.
The ICS was represented by Lisa-Maria Katholnig and Abigail Garcia with its own stand and used the event to present the DiGEM project to Styrian companies and an international professional audience.
The conference provided the opportunity to engage with companies, research institutions, and international organizations and to establish new contacts. The focus was on current developments in the field of energy and climate transformation as well as potential international cooperation opportunities.
Technical lectures, discussions, and workshops addressed current developments in the field of sustainable energy systems as well as the role of innovation, technology transfer, and international cooperation in implementing energy and climate goals.
For the ICS, participation was an opportunity to increase the visibility of DiGEM in an international environment and to deepen the exchange with companies, research institutions, and international organizations.
