At the beginning of February, we had the pleasure of welcoming Inga Ulmane, Economic and Trade Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Austria, to the Styrian Chamber of Commerce.
Together with President Josef Herk, Honorary Consul Dr. Prof. Peter Grieshofer, ICS Managing Director Karl Hartleb and Sandra Tanos, we held a stimulating and highly valuable exchange with the Embassy Counsellor.
The focus was on the importance of a united Europe and the wide range of opportunities for cooperation within the EU. Particularly exciting potential areas of cooperation between Latvia and Styria discussed included tourism, logistics, health & pharma, and mobility.
Naturally, we also took the opportunity to provide insights into Styria’s foreign trade activities as well as the broad range of initiatives of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and the ICS Internationalisation Center Styria.
It was an inspiring dialogue that further strengthens cross-border cooperation and networking!
