Under this motto, the fourth-year students of WIKU BRG Graz used the last day of school before the semester break for a visit to ICS. They gained exciting insights into our diverse areas of activity and learned how domestic companies are supported in taking the step into international markets. The immense importance of foreign trade for Styria as a business location was conveyed to them in a particularly impressive way through clear figures and facts.
As the class spent a week in Dublin last autumn and English is a key focus of their lessons, the Commercial Counsellor of the Austrian Trade Commission Dublin, Josef Treml, joined live. He provided valuable insights into the Irish export market and explained not only opportunities, potential and current trends in this dynamic market, but also shared exciting insights into the activities of individual Styrian companies that are already operating in Ireland.
To conclude, the young people had the opportunity to ask their questions, which were answered in detail by the experts.
We wish all students a successful mid-year report, a restful semester break, and a motivated start to the summer semester!
