A dynamic and challenging year for Styria’s export economy lies behind us—and at the same time, it is a special anniversary year, as we have been supporting Styrian companies on their path to internationalisation for exactly 20 years.
The US market currently remains a key factor of uncertainty, directly influencing export and investment decisions. At the same time, new opportunities are emerging in Europe through investments in infrastructure, digitalisation and industrial transformation.
Additional momentum is being provided by India: As a growing key market for industry, technology and skilled workers, the country continues to gain importance—not least due to new trade agreements.
Special attention is also being paid to EU programmes such as DiGEM, which support market entry into emerging markets and provide impetus in the areas of digitalisation and the recruitment of skilled workers.
20 years of ICS means, above all: many shared journeys with domestic companies—through stable times and through those in which much has to be reorganised.
