Internship Placement at a WKÖ Foreign Trade Centre
In mid-January, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce hosted an information day for interns who will complete an internship in 2025 at one of the approximately 100 WKÖ Foreign Trade Centres worldwide.
This international assignment offers Austrian students of economics and law a valuable opportunity to not only gain international experience during their studies but also to get their first insights into the professional world.
The approximately three-hour information day began with a presentation on the topic “Why does the WKO Styria invest in an internship program?” This was followed by interesting presentations from an internationally active Styrian company, a former intern who shared exciting impressions from her stay in London, and ICS, which provided information about its services and support activities for domestic export-oriented companies.
The event concluded with colleagues from AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, who provided insights into the diverse activities of the Foreign Trade Centres and explained practical details regarding the internship placement.
