The Graubünden Trade Association (BGV), the largest business association in the Swiss canton of Graubünden with almost 7,000 members, visited ICS at the end of September. With 63 sections, including numerous professional associations as well as local trade and business associations, the BGV is an important voice for Switzerland’s SME landscape. The visit focused on an in-depth exchange on the topics of green tech, innovation, and internationalisation.
Together with representatives of the Green Tech Valley, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, and the Styrian Business Promotion Agency SFG, the guests received comprehensive insights into the region’s internationalisation strategy. In addition, the Styrian success model was presented, which is based on close cooperation between business, research, and politics. Another focus was on the important role of the funding landscape in business development. Finally, the international appeal of Green Tech Valley as a leading centre for sustainable technologies was highlighted.
The visit strengthens cross-border cooperation between Styria and Switzerland and underscores the Graubünden Trade Association’s strong interest in innovative solutions and sustainable growth. ICS sees this dialogue as a valuable basis for further intensifying cooperation and unlocking shared potential.
