Successful US Expansion: Styrian Automotive Expertise Now in the Carolinas

Since its founding in 2005, the Styrian company MSG Mechatronic Systems GmbH has been developing and producing innovative automotive solutions for the mobility of tomorrow, known for its technological excellence in vehicle efficiency, comfort, and safety. The market entry into the USA marks a strategically important step in the company’s global expansion strategy. MSG Americas, Inc. will not only expand its market presence in North America but also create opportunities to better serve local customers and tap into new business prospects. The new sales office in Greenville has already been occupied, and a decision on the US production site will be made by late summer.

The automotive specialist received significant support from ICS and its two consultants, Alexandra Kohrgruber and Marion Kikinger. They assisted the company, among other things, with applying for the go-international internationalization voucher, which financially secured the expansion and facilitated market entry into the USA.

Last year, the ICS team visited the company’s site in Southwest Styria as part of a company outing. During a guided tour, the group gained exciting insights into production and was able to directly discuss the upcoming expansion plans and challenges of entering the US market with the MSG team.

With the successful establishment of MSG Americas, Inc., the company has laid the foundation for further growth in the US market.
