Review | Austria @Web Summit Lisbon 2024

For the first time, the ICS participated in the Austria @Web Summit Lisbon appearance by AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT Innovation and AC Lisbon, together with six Styrian companies. From November 11–14, participating companies were offered a rich and intensive program of networking opportunities, particularly during the Austria Night, B2B and pitching sessions, lectures on the latest tech developments, and much more! Once again, Antless GmbH provided the right beats at the Austrian stand.

The two start-ups Codemenschen GmbH, Patrick Fuchshofer and byeagain, Wolfgang Weingraber were pleased to receive sponsorship for their participation, thanks to a joint initiative by the ICS Internationalisierungscenter Steiermark, Junge Wirtschaft Steiermark, and WKO Steiermark.

This year, the Web Summit brought together over 70,000 people and the companies redefining the technology industry. At a time of great uncertainty for many sectors and the world at large, politicians, heads of state, as well as founders and CEOs of technology companies and fast-growing start-ups gathered here to ask a simple question: Where to next?
