The young company from Styria is not only revolutionizing the camping world with its modern carbon-neutral glamping tents, but is also creating genuine oases of well-being with high levels of comfort with its mountain chalets, pavilions, and lounges. All STROHBOID products are designed and produced in Austria, with demand coming from all over the world.

The USA is a particularly promising market. The STROHBOID team has therefore prepared meticulously for market entry. In addition to consultations with the Foreign Trade Center New York, Mario Niederl, Head of CRM, also took part in the USA Consultation Day at ICS in April of this year. He benefited from individual advice from proven USA experts and established valuable contacts. Furthermore, the team has applied for Go International funding to prepare for market entry in the best possible way.

“The US market offers huge potential for us, and we are now in the process of building long-term partnerships for the entire North American region. The ICS team provided enormous support, especially during the initial steps, and established contact with the Foreign Trade Center in New York. This paved the way for our further planning, as we can now define our next steps more precisely with local experts. For us internally, the USA Consultation Day was the starting signal to prepare ourselves entrepreneurially for the American market. Our colleagues in other departments continue to actively support us with questions regarding Go-International funding or specific export topics.”

The effort has paid off! Most recently, three new projects were secured in Seattle, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, which are scheduled for completion in the coming months. STROHBOID is now planning the next steps toward establishing a company in the USA to better serve the huge market with products “made in Austria.”

The USA is just the beginning. The innovative company plans to conquer Saudi Arabia soon. We are excited to see what the future holds for STROHBOID and look forward to accompanying the team on its way into new international markets!
