The Graz-based e-commerce company Curlypets Onlinehandels GmbH specializes in high-quality pet accessories. The team places particular emphasis on offering modern products that are both functional and stylish—tailored to the needs of discerning pet owners.

To add new, high-quality products to its range in a targeted way, Curlypets approached the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) at ICS. In a personal consultation with Michaela Ahlgrimm-Siess, the requirements for potential suppliers and the target markets were clearly defined. The EEN then activated its Europe-wide network and identified suitable partner companies via the EEN Marketplace.

The search led to Poland: a local manufacturer of handmade dog and cat collars impressed with high-quality, sustainable materials and modern design. As part of a curated matchmaking initiative, the company was introduced to Curlypets—and the spark was immediate. The quality and flexibility of the Polish supplier were a perfect fit for Curlypets’ standards, while in return the supplier gained the opportunity to enter the Austrian market for the first time via the Graz-based online retailer.

Just a few weeks after the initial contact, a supply agreement was signed. The first products have now arrived in the warehouse and are available successfully via the webshop www.curlypets.de.
