The manufacturing industry in Central Europe consumes many resources, yet only recycles around 12% of them. To improve the circular economy, waste streams must be better understood and new solutions developed.

As part of the REUSE2030 project, two practical digital tools have been developed to help companies in mechanical engineering and related industries such as metalworking, plastics, and automotive engineering integrate greater sustainability into their processes: the Digital Circular Inventory and the Zero Carbon Tool.

The Digital Circular Inventory provides best-practice examples, case studies, and learning resources, particularly to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) integrate sustainable solutions into their business processes and the circular economy.

The Zero Carbon Tool helps companies identify their greatest environmental impacts and savings potential, and implement targeted measures sustainably.

Both tools have now been completed and are ready for the testing phase!

Test our tools now and discover how you can make your company more sustainable.

Click here to access the Digital Circular Inventory testing!

We look forward to your feedback!

This project is supported by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE PROGRAMME, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The overarching goal of REUSE2030 is to promote the adoption of circular economy principles by the mechanical engineering sector at EU level. As a project partner, we will actively support the achievement of these objectives and ensure that the results benefit our Styrian exporters.

To achieve the project objectives, we work together with the following European partners:
