Our country focus on Saudi Arabia continues to gain momentum: During the visit of Saudi Arabian Ambassador Abdullah Tawlah to Styria, the direct exchange with Styrian companies was central. Numerous businesses seized the opportunity to present their activities and plans in the Saudi market – from already established business relationships to concrete market entry strategies.

The growing interest in cooperation and the great potential opening up for Styrian companies in the course of Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation became clear.

Clear Support for Styrian Initiatives

A key signal of the visit: the Ambassador’s clear willingness to actively support Styrian companies. The focus is primarily on building sustainable networks, targeted networking with relevant local partners, and opening doors for concrete projects and investments.

This support is an important lever to facilitate market entry and further expand existing activities.

Next Opportunity: Exchange with Middle East Experts

A concrete next step is already planned: On June 2, 2026, the Economic Delegate Consultation Day in Graz offers the opportunity to clarify individual questions and discuss concrete market opportunities.

Take the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with experts, including Christoph P. from Riyadh, and gain valuable insights into the Saudi market. In addition, the subsequent workshop provides in-depth information for companies looking to expand their activities in Saudi Arabia.
