Creative Industries

Even before Graz had been included into the network of the UNESCO Cities of Design was Styria able to assert itself as a creative region on a global level. Styria experienced a creative boost and international visibility especially through the project Graz 2003 – European Capital of Culture. The creative industries, from advertising and graphics to design, architecture, fashion and music, as well as the entire media industry and the publishing industry, have long played a major role in Styria and are significantly contributing to the Styrian value chain. Both the Creative Industries Styria and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA are network partners of the ICS. Together we support the dynamic creative scene in starting their journey on international markets.
